Systems: IT
and Training Solutions The Antarctic Systems Program Directorate provided analytical and technical support to the national Science Foundation (NSF) and to the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) for Operation Deep Freeze and the U.S. Antarctic Program. Major Antarctic electronic systems supported include Air traffic Control, Communications, Navigation, and Meteorology. This Directorate also provided Program Managers with a wide range of information systems support products and capabilities, including cost analysis, budgeting and program milestone tracking. Communication Systems: IT and Training Solutions Navigation and Guidance: IT and Training Solutions The Natural Power Systems Program Directorate provides specialized technical expertise in photo-voltics, battery technology, and alternative energy systems. This Directorate conducts Research and Development Activities, including Requirements Analysis; Systems Design and Development, Prototype Development, and Test & Evaluation of natural power systems. Research initiatives include intelligent power management and hybrid alternative power systems for extreme cold weather environments. IT and Training Solutions Natural Power Systems In
